4-Day Botswana Okavango Camping

Mobile safari tour that is designed to suite all travelers taste who are intending on visiting few of Botswana’s wildlife hots-pots on a limited time. This safari adventure starts in Maun, travelling to the Okavango delta before proceeding to the Moremi Game Reserve. Clients will participate in camp chores like erecting tents, cooking and washing dishes.
After airport pick up we depart via 4×4 vehicles to the Delta Region. We drive to a mokoro (local dugout canoe) station where we meet our local polers who will escort us on today’s excursion.
We explore the channels and waterways by traditional means in a mokoro this is the local form of transport used to traverse the many waterways of the Delta. Here we do mokoro and walking safari. This a semi participation safari, guests might help with camp chores like cooking, erecting Camping or washing dishes. But there is always camp assistant to do it for them if they find it difficult.

Vacating town of Maun past traditional Shorobe village, we board our safari vehicle and drive before entering the South Gate into what is undoubtedly one of the top wildlife destinations in Africa, Moremi Game Reserve.
We game drive to our private camp site within the reserve in time for lunch. After a safety briefing and quick afternoon nap, we head out in search of game. The area is teeming with bird life and wildlife. It is a prime wildlife area where elephant, hippo, buffalo, lion, and most other game (including eland, kudu, roan antelope, and if you’re lucky even leopard) can be seen in abundance. Moremi Game Reserve is one of the most unforgettable wildlife experiences in Africa.
On your return to camp, there is time for a hot bush shower before we gather for our evening meal and then move to the campfire and shares stories of the day’s adventures. Retreating to the comfort of your tent you can fall asleep listening to the sounds of the African Bush.

6-Day Okavango and Chobe

Venture through the famous Moremi Game Reserve and onto Chobe National Park with Camp Karangoma Safaris, you will depart from Maun on day one and spend two nights exploring Moremi. On the third day, you will move into Chobe National Park, spending two nights in the desert-like landscape of Savuti and onto the lush Chobe floodplains. Morning game drive on day six, finishing off with a three-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River.
Morning after breakfast you will depart from Maun to Moremi Game Reserve to spend two nights exploring the game reserve. A local guide will show you all the wild animals in the local environment and, at the same time, tell you all about the land, the people, and other things that make Botswana special. Upon arrival, you will set up the camp. After a quick lunch, a professional guide will lead you for afternoon game drive to explore the famous Moremi Game Reserve. You will return to the camp where dinner is served.

The morning after breakfast, you will leave the camp for a long game drive to experience the other parts of Moremi Game Reserve. You will return to the camp for lunch and after that, you have two hours to rest before an afternoon game drive in Moremi. After the game drive, you will return back to the camp where dinner is served.

In the morning after breakfast, you will venture through the famous Moremi Game Reserve and onto Chobe National Park to spend two nights there. Upon arrival, you will set up the tent. You will have your lunch then rest for about two hours before afternoon game drive in Savuti. You will return to the camp for dinner.

After breakfast, you will take down your camp and leave the camp into the desert-like landscape of Savuti and onto the lush Chobe floodplains. You will explore Chobe, which is famous for its abundance of elephants, one of the highest concentrations in Africa. You will return to the camp where lunch is served and immediately after lunch, you will venture through Savuti to explore more about the wildlife experience in Botswana. After the game drive, you will go back to the camp where dinner is served.

The morning after breakfast you leave the camp into the desert-like landscape of Savuti to explore other parts of Chobe. Return to the camp for lunch and rest for about two hours before the afternoon game drive. After game, you will return to the camp where dinner is served.

In the morning after breakfast, you will go on a game drive along Chobe waterfront, finishing with a three-hour boat cruise on the Chobe River, immediately after boat cruise your guide will drop you in the Airport or hotel where our safari will end.

6-Day Nxai and Central Kalahari

Experience camping at Baines Baobabs under trees over 1,000 years old, you may wonder at all the trees have seen and stories they could tell of travelers over the years. Kalahari lions roar into the still night air, a sound to shatter the tranquility. All these experience will let you be excited more to join this safari tour.
Just after our morning breakfast we park our bags in the trailer and drive 3 hours along the Makalamamedi veterinary fence of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve through the Matswere Gate. Animals found in this area are the Kudu, giraffe, Eland, springbok, hartebeest, wildebeest, lion brown hyena, black backed jackal and leopard. Due to the distance we will have our packed lunch and enjoy it in the bush before heading to the campsite. On arrival in the campsite we will find our camping tents prepared. In the evening our chef will prepare meals and serve us as we will sit around the fire enjoying our dinner. Later we spend the night in our tents. Before going to bed we will have a brief discussion of the itinerary on the next day.
Main Destination: Central Kalahari Game Reserve
After our morning breakfast we continue our drive to Central Kalahari West. We will have our packed lunch and water with us since we will spend most of the day out doing the drive. There are a variety of animals and bird spices like the secretary bird, kori bustard, double banded couser, acacia pied barbet, crimson breasted shrike, lesser grey shrike, sabota, sparrowlark, common ostrich, scaly-feathered finch and the gabar. Later on arrival at the campsite we will find our meals ready. We will spend our night around the fire place as we will be discussing the itinerary of the following day.
Main Destination: Central Kalahari Game Reserve
Just after our morning meal we drive to the North West of the game reserve, from there we return back to the campsite to have a lunch. After resting we then do our afternoon game drive in search of game. If good rains have fallen we should expect to see black-backed jackal, bat-eared fox, cape fox, leopard, Kalahari lion, blue wildebeest, plains zebra, common eland, sable antelope, gemsbok, springbok, impala, greater kudu, cape ground squirrel and ostrich. Later in the campsite we will find our dinner and hot water readily prepared. We will spend the night in our tents.

We wake up early morning for the game drive just after our breakfast, heading to the Nxai Pans where we will have our packed lunch along the way. We will have our water and drinks since it will be a very long day to arrive in the park. On arrival in the campsite we will find our tents prepared and dinner ready. We will enjoy our dinner as well as the bath in the campsite. Discussions of the itinerary on the following day will be made. We will spend the night in our camping tents.

Just after our breakfast we drive to the Baines Baobabs. The Baines Baobab trees derive their name from Thomas Baines (who was a member of the Livingstone Expedition); he painted a group of Baobab trees that became famously known as the ‘Baines Baobabs’. According to sources, he completed the painting between 1861 and 1862, and he was overwhelmed with the rare sighting of these fantastic baobab trees. We will have our packed lunch with us since we will spend most of the hours away. We later drive back to the campsite where we will find our meals prepared.

Just after our morning breakfast we pack our camping equipment and drive back to Maun. We use the A3 Maun Nata road passing through Makalamabedi gate. On arrival transfer to the airport will be arranged.
